Afri-Foods and Restaurant offers delicious and flavorful African cuisine. The spicy egusi soup with pounded yam is a must-try, with the option of spicy or non-spicy to suit your taste. The portions are generous, with ample meat, and the prices are reasonable. The service is efficient, although the staff could pay more attention to their appearance. The restaurant has a clean atmosphere and is kid-friendly, with parking available in the plaza. The food is exceptional and prepared with care. It is a great addition to Merrillville's dining options. Customers praise the fresh and tasty food, with big portions that are worth the money. The restaurant is a favorite for dinner, and the staff is friendly. Customers recommend trying the Nigerian dishes, especially the fufu and egusi soup.
