First and last time won’t ever go back here ever…ordered my food at 4:38 just left the restaurant at 6:00. Never again.

Egusi soup was gross, the fufu too. Instead of getting the chicken with our jollof rice we got ham hocks!! Plantains we’re PLANE-Tains! They were out of ALL the sides we ordered! I spent over $60 bucks and it was a complete waste of my money. Never again.

I moved from the south suburbs in Illinois to Indiana and this is the only Nigerian Resturant that’s close to my house and I’m very disappointed. I got the egusi meal of course the meal came with fu fu that wasn’t even warm the egusi wasn’t good at all just spicy I’m so upset I wasted my money. Don’t go here if you ever had real Nigerian food no no no. Plus I called in and when I arrived my food still wasn’t done STAY AWAY

The fufu and egusi was IMMACULATE!I ordered the spicy kind and it def have a kick to it, they put the USI in egUSI forsure would def recommend 10/10.

Yes! It’s a not a dinning joint yet, so we have to do carry out, but the food is great!! I’ll be going back again for sure

I ordered egusi soup with smoked turkey. They must think people don't know the difference between turkey and beef. An it was extremely salty. Very, disappointed in the service ?.

I absolutely love Afri-Foods and Restaurant! The food is delicious, they are very generous with the portion, and I was immediately accepted as family.

Ok, so the way this place looks both on the outside and the inside will make you question what you are going to eat. The restaurant looks like it used to have tables and chairs but because of Covid they were removed so now it's like a store that is going out of business. The service was good in that we didn't have to wait long for our food, but the guy at the register looked like he had just gotten out of bed, no shower and just came to work.

***Besides, that we ordered their spicy egusi with pounded yam, it was really really good, I loved it. They give you the option of spicy or not spicy. Their portions and prices are good too. The meal had enough meat for me to enjoy everything, unlike other restaurants that will give you only 2 tiny pieces. I will order from there again.

Their meat was RAW. They sold my family uncooked food and the food is never even ready when you walk in and place an order. They heat stuff up in the microwave after "cooking" it days before and they even take offense when you try to show them their uncooked meat and ask for your money back. This place is gross and will hopefully get closed for a health department violation because someone is bound to get sick from eating their uncooked meat.

Slow & bad customer service. Every time I go its a long wait. I always order over the phone first, then once you get there it take 20-30min longer. I complained about it and the gentleman offered me 10%. Once it was time for me to ring out he charged me full price and I said I thought you were giving me 10% off and then he said they said I can’t. I heard the lady in the back talking fast and loud. They could at least have gave me the 10%off that he offered. They told me the order would be ready in 30minutes, which I knew it wouldn’t be because of previous times, so I took 45 minutes. I will say this, the food is good, but I’m not willing to wait and 1hr for egusi soup and be lied to. I’m very big on customer service and they don’t have it!
