I have had much better! Spent well over $60 for a meal for 2, I got what the chose to give and instead of what I ordered, jollof rice was supposed to be spicy and it was plain,dry, no spice at all, the food portion for the agusi with the came with only 1 ball of pounded yam. Not 2 like the photo. I just knew I was going to love it since I had to wait 1 hr 35 min for my freshly made African meal. I am disappointed. I have to keep searching.

It's a bit overpriced, but it was cool. This was $30.23 for egusi with a little oxtail stew in the middle and fufu. What you see is what I got. There is no more meat. If you don't want to drive to the Northside of Chicago, you can try them.

The food here is very good and always fresh, It’s me and my husbands favorite place for dinner. The portions are big so it’s worth the money, i usually eat my mines twice throughout the day!!

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD I CANNOT EXPLAINNN! ive been wanted to try nigerian food especially fufu and egusi soup, PLEASE TRY the guys was sooo nice and the food was make quick and hot! i am def coming back soon!

I'll be honest, if you new to eating African food you would think this place is great. However, I'm not a fan. They overcharge x2 for egusi when you get goat or meat. I've been to other places who taste better and charge half the price. I do not recommend, rooks kitchen in merrillville is so much more seasoned and tasteful! Won't be back!

Egusi soup was gross, the fufu too. Instead of getting the chicken with our jollof rice we got ham hocks!! Plantains we’re PLANE-Tains! They were out of ALL the sides we ordered! I spent over $60 bucks and it was a complete waste of my money. Never again.

I moved from the south suburbs in Illinois to Indiana and this is the only Nigerian Resturant that’s close to my house and I’m very disappointed. I got the egusi meal of course the meal came with fu fu that wasn’t even warm the egusi wasn’t good at all just spicy I’m so upset I wasted my money. Don’t go here if you ever had real Nigerian food no no no. Plus I called in and when I arrived my food still wasn’t done STAY AWAY

Yes! It’s a not a dinning joint yet, so we have to do carry out, but the food is great!! I’ll be going back again for sure
