I am just leaving the restaurant. Overall the service and food was okay. The server Nico ruined the moment by being petty and rude to one of people in the party by bringing her 80 pennies. He was made to fix it but who displays this kind of behavior in a fine dining establishment. More and More reasons why I don't come here anymore. Tammy, Sam...they are dragging your place down.
Asparagus is USUALLY one of our favorite restaurants. Except for today. We like dining in the bar area so, a couple days ago, we made a reservation for a bar table at 5p today. We arrive at 450p, despite there being 3 open tables, the hostess says it may be just a few. OK, no problem, we'll grab a drink at the bar while we wait. We always considered this place to be an upscale establishment so we were surprised by the crowd in there literally yelling and carrying on with no one...read full review
My server Brittany was AMAZING... The chicken crunch egg rolls I HIGHLY recommend...The pear martini with a sugar rim was on point..
I had a choice between the dim room or the half lit room, I chose the half lit because the setting and mood was just right for ot.
I'm definitely going back next time to sit at the bar and get myself a flight of martinis. ..
