My first time here at La Carreta. I’m going to say that the quality of the food is good. I order a Taco loco Combo. The flavor of the Carne Asada was delicious and the Chorizo as well. The Carnitas need more flavor. The corn tortillas were amazing you can taste that are made in the tortillería no from package. On the rice flavor is good but on the refried Beans would be better if were refried with Lard not with Oil. But other that Food is really good and service.
We stopped in while passing through the city. Food was delicious! I had a tostada and enchilada combo lunch plate with rice and beans.
I though the enchilada was with the red chili sauce but OH MY!!! It was a mole sauce. I did not realize I missed Real mole sauce so badly! It was perfect! Prices were very good and the service was excellent too. I only wish this great find was a block from my house so I could go once a week.

The service just depends on the server.
Elias is pretty slow and disappears for long periods of time.
There are no prices on the menu for the different margaritas.
The prices that he told us they would cost was way lower than what the bill came as!!!!
The atmosphere here is really good.
Just be aware what you are charged....we were definitely overcharged.
