My mother-in-law and I went for lunch yesterday and we could not be more satisfied and happy. We did make a reservation the day before for 11:15 am. and were seated within 7 minutes. The ambiance is beautiful and true to a tea room. We were welcomed by a hostess, and our table had clean, pressed white linens along with beautiful teacups as well as a scone and a piece of pumpkin bread...delicious. Our server came immediately with hot water and then tea. They had a wonderful selection of teas. The menu was just perfect... not large but just enough to tickle your fancy. I chose the Chateau Earl Grey and my mom in law the Metropolitan. Both were delicious and came with a side salad. We were full and took our desserts home. Thank you for making our celebration of becoming a grandma and great grandma one to remember. I recommend the Tea Room over and over again and will be back again! Keep up the great work!An extra 5 stars to our server, who was sweet, informative, and just super nice!

First of all, sorry for taking so long to leave lol.We came for a 40th Birthday Tea Party. Oh did we have a blast.The ambiance and waitress (Becka) was sooooo amazing. The food was amazing and they have a wide variety of tea.The owner and her husband popped in on our party too.10/10 highly recommend. We had to be put out yall lol. They were closing. I guess time flies when you're having fun.Tea, Anyone?

I cannot recommend Merrillville Florist and Tea room enough! I ordered a floral arrangement for my dear friend who just lost her mom. She sent me a photo of the flowers and I was blown away by how gorgeous they were! They took my order over the phone and were so very helpful and patient with me! I also, love their tea room. I cannot wait to get back there for lunch with my girls!

Enjoyed a delightful holiday lunch with my daughter. Everything was so lovely. The decorations, the food and the service were all perfect. The staff even created a gorgeous floral arrangement in a teacup for my daughter to take home. Thank you for adding to our Christmas memories.
We had a great relaxing experience and great food! My chicken was cooked to perfection. If I had one complaint it would be the cupcake in the jar was expensive and not good. Everything else -excellent.

This is a gem, a special and magical place. The food is excellent, the servers are 5-star also...and you can indulge in beautiful candies or desserts. The atmosphere takes your mind off the outside world. I recently took friends from Maine there and they truly enjoyed the entire experience...because it is an experience.
