Its my first time here. Iordered the friday special. 1 catfish filet, 2 wings & 2 sides (dressing & green beans)for $14 everything was soooo very good. Wholesome & soulful.
I live in Indiana and was visiting a friend in Missouri and he said he had driven by the restaurant several times but he had never been there. So we decided to give it a try. It was GREAT... We definitely will go back there...GET THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY...
Please don't get me wrong, the food was good. It did have that southern taste that I miss so much, but I was disappointed with the quantity. I paid almost $50 for me and my wife's food and I expected the portion sizes to be a little bigger. We both ordered ribs & fish and the ribs were tough. It was only because of the sauce, I finished my ribs and the fish wasn't even a whole filet. That fish was cut in half and served as 2 pieces.
