We had a great dinner at Olive Garden Monday evening! The food was good, service was good and we were able to enjoy the conversation. The only things that could have made it any better was the chicken could have been cook a little less for the chicken parmigiana ( it was too done, dry, and hard to cut) and more toppings could have been put on the salad in the first serving so we didn’t have to ask for them.
This Mother's Day we decided to order carside pick up instead of dining in and I have to say Merrillville Olive Garden has a great system! It was easy, fast, and super convenient after a busy day of yardwork! The food came packed well, hot, and included everything (even the famous after-dinner mints) so we couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience! Food has always been good. I love the soup and salad deal! Overall, always a good experience. I'm not sure if short-staffed, but service was slow yet waitress was pleasant and apologized. Italian music was nice and the feel of the restaurant is pleasant.
