If you come here expecting every dish to be a flavor sensation, first realize that this place was one of the few affordable Mexi restaurants in the Merrillville area back when it was on the northeast corner and owned by the Espinozas. I love Pepe's the only problem is every time I go there there's no cook 1140 opens at 1100 never a cook I prefer this Pepe's over the one off Broadway. I would rate them a 4 if they would hire people how can u eat without a cook
My fiance went in to order food and came out smiling bc of his interaction with James. We were waiting in the car, and my fiance was about to go back in to see if our food was ready.
