Essenhaus Reviews
We only tried their bakery and it is nothing short of amazing...literally everything we tasted out of this bakery was not only delicious & fresh but it's as if effort was a flavor in every bite. I don't know how else to describe how unbelievably good it is. It's so good that even a flavor you dislike would taste good. If I'm ever back in Indiana, this will be one of the reasons why.
Just not as good as it used to be. Roast beef was burned and salty. Beef and noodles were pasty. The chicken, mashed potatoes and chicken noodles were good. But it seems like everything (including the salad) is made to fill you up fast. Difficult to feel like you got your money's worth on a buffet. I miss the days of the family style dinner when they brought bowls of food to your table.
Walked into where it said menu dinning asked to be seated in the menu dining part made zero mention if we wanted bfast or lunch the rude old lady manager informed me that bfast was over at 11 we was there at 10:45am and refused to seat us that's fine I can spend my money somewhere else. To think I grew up with the Miller's I haven't been here in an long time I won't be back. I'm glad I wasted my time and effort from Goshen, In

Essenhaus offers both buffet and sit-down dining options, with a shop, bakery, and a booth inside an Amish buggy. The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The menu features dishes such as creamed chicken over biscuits and mashed potatoes, with generous portion sizes. The opened faced roast beef sandwich, served with homemade mashed potatoes and smothered in a rich beef gravy, is a standout. The buffet offers a variety of fresh items, including salads, hot dishes like noodles, mashed potatoes, and baked beans, and desserts like bread pudding and peach cobbler. The food is delicious, and the ambiance is loved. Essenhaus consistently exceeds expectations and is a great choice for a meal, definitely worth the drive.
