Firehouse Subs Wilshire Plaza

I went for dinner here on Friday and ended up with the most violent food poisoning I have ever had Saturday morning. They took probably 20 minutes to make our meal, and none of the workers seemed to know what they were doing. Anytime I would ask a worker a question they would seem annoyed. We spent a lot of money on a meal for our family and to end up with food poisoning was very upsetting.

I went to Firehouse for a Veteran's Day meal! They were so patient and kind as I decided what I wanted since I hadn't been to a Firehouse in a while. They got my order ready quickly and it was so delicious!

I would have to say this is the most uneventful eatery I've ever been in. The commercials are more appealing than any entree on the board. Way too neat of a sandwich,.not enough ingredients,.overly prepared,..and boring.
When my daughter got released from employment,.I was happy. (And I had this opinion from the first bite of the sandwich !) This place is pretentious and pricey for what you pay.,.and not very inviting from the door.

I was very surprised as to how they make their subs. They have 10 steamers with the meat portions on paper. They scrape it off onto the subs. Not a place I will eat at again. Penn station is the place to go.

I think the employees are getting lacks on the orders. I ordered 2 subs, and neither one was as I ordered. Most of the time, they are great! But if I order my food without certain items, that's what I expect to get. Please don't rush, we would rather our food is correct and tasty 😋
