I have to drive an hour to come here, and I do so gladly. As a Culinary School Graduate, this place has the best chicken and steak I've ever had. If you get your steak well done you deserve to go to Hell, because medium or under is served hot and melts in your mouth. Their signature egg yolk sauce makes you rice (rice, mushrooms, and zucchini) orgasmic. You always get extras, and the chefs are hilarious improvisational comedians and expert hibachi cooks. If you have never tried eel (unagi) try it here. Not fishy at all, it has a taste and texture beyond description. For the best experience. Hit up the bar for the best Izakaya experience in the Mid-West. I'd leave my wife and live in their dumpster if they fed me for free.
Delish and amazing cooks!

This is such a hidden gem for me, this is my go to place for Hibachi. My meal usually cost around $36 if I’m not getting any alcohol because I typically get the Shogun. The egg yolk they add gives the food that extra touch and I have not had poor service.

My family and I celebrated birthdays there yesterday the people at the front seemed to have attitudes because our parties were big but we had reservations separately we all came from out of town to dine there. I feel like the food was DECENT 5 out of 10 they only have a ginger sauce or a egg yolk sauce and that sauce was bland to me 0 out of 10 only thing that made my food worth eating was the teriyaki sauce we got from the attitude at first cook his attitude went away towards the end of him cooking. The no free refills is beyond crazy it’s $2 per glass of pop/soda if that’s not penny pinching idk what is. The cooks need to season the food more and the staff needs more training on large parties especially people of COLOR we were all polite to the staff because maybe they weren’t having a good day who knows but we probably won’t dine there again due to our experience we heard after we left that it’s a better place not too far away from this place so if we’re ever in town again we will definitely dine at the better restaurant and not this place.

Our party had a fabulous experience on 8/25 celebrating a birthday. Our chef, Young, had wonderful showmanship and we were delighted with the theatrics he provided, as well as the meal itself. Everyone in our party raved about our experience afterwards. Thank you Young and Hana Yori!

The food is so delicious and it was a great restaurant! Highly recommend this place for dinner plans! One of the best restaurants in town! I would not recommend it for those with food allergies. Reservations are required though.
Parking: Plenty of parking!
Kid-friendliness: The chefs are very funny and entertaining! Even for kids, although some kids maybe scared of fire.

The food is so tasty and the live cooking "show" is always entertaining. Always recommend reservations for this place, walk-in availability for parties larger than 2 is usually hard to find.

Party of 11 1 couple in our group always shares one meal everyplace we ever eat. Per there staff, its was the only way they could seat 11. The server and cook was aware they were sharing their plate. They were charged for 2 meals long story short, they demanded if they took a meal off the bill they had to leave their small leftover container. What? Are you serious? We have spent alot money at this place and will be going to soho from now on. 🖕🏻
Very good hibachi food, excellent service, and the chef was great. I wasn't impressed with the salad dressing or soup, but that wasn't the reason we came.
Parking: The parking lot can be difficult to navigate and is located behind the building, but there were plenty of spaces.
Kid-friendliness: There is a kid's menu.
