“A local recommended Oasis Diner. It didn't disappoint. The service was amazing, with an attentive staff who never made me feel rushed. I ordered the chicken noodle soup (basic, but good), the pork tenderloin sandwich (huge, yummy), and sweet cream pie to go. The house made sodas were an added bonus. The mashed potatoes could have been warmer and the pie slice was skimpy, but other than that, a solid meal.”

“My sister and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. Wanted to try somewhere we had not been. We are very glad we did. The food was very good and the waitress was fantastic. It is a family run business which makes it even better. We had pulled pork and ribs. Both were great. We liked the fact that the BBQ sauce is on the table and you get to choose which one and how much. We highly recommend stopping in. They have really good specials to.”

I could see it was wrong when they handed it to me but there was a line so I pulled out and parked to taste it just to be sure. The finger sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, and the scones were perfectly tender and delicious — such a treat and exactly what you want for a cozy tea at home. Everything felt thoughtfully made and special, which made our Christmas tea feel extra festive. We’re already looking forward to visiting in person for afternoon tea. Highly recommend!”

You can tell they take pride in their shop and love what they do. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Cheesecake 10 out of 10!! I’d definitely recommend!! Sugar cream pie, cupcakes and cherry cobbler were all amazing! If you’re in the area make a point to stop. You will leave with a bag of goodies and a smile on your face.”

“My wife, Adriana Laurens Andrews, love Sea Turtle but they didnt have it at the Plainfield Girls Basketball Game but the next night the brought us two special containers of sea turtle even though they were not serving it that night. Always great ice cream, great service, even the students that work there. Thank you both.”

“My first time as a Guest and I liked it! Plenty of parking space. Walking in, I was welcomed with the friendliest greetings. Really cold morning out, it was very warm and cozy inside. Quite spacious with booths and tables. A couple TV's on the walls to have something to stare at. 😉 Server attended to me quickly with the loveliest hospitality. Breakfast menu had a variety of options at favorable prices. Had a nice, delicious breakfast....good til the last bite! Really enjoyed the hospitality and the meal. I will come again when I'm in town.”

“Very nice place with good music and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly pleasant and kind. There’s a great variety of milk teas and other drinks - I especially enjoyed the hot honey oolong milk tea. Prices are affordable, and there are 6 tables for dining in (4 seats per each), so there was plenty of space for me and my three friends.

They even allowed us to bring in outside food since we were looking for a place to sit and eat, which we really appreciated. Although the restroom is usually for employees only, they kindly let us use it. At one point, my friend asked if they had an extra pad, and they immediately helped her out - such thoughtful and understanding people.

“I have always like Amici's and feel it is among the best pizza's in Plainfield but the sauce tasted different this time. Much too bold and overpowering for my taste. I will try again soon but I hope this is a one off because, if not, I don't think I will go there again.”
