I ended up booking the cheaper option of an older room and it was nice but definitely needed updating. Which they are in the process of doing. The pool was a great. The grandkids had a great time! We love to support the Indiana State parks!
Only ate at the restaurant. Tried their peanut butter and bacon hamburger. Oddly enough, I really liked it. I would recommend ketchup instead of the apple butter cause it blended the flavors better. I tried the califlower buffalo wings, the texture through me off, the color looks like cooked chicken. Would recommend if you really like cooked califlower. Tenderloins are big and the fish dinner had big fillets. The atmosphere is cozy but lighting is dim. Go on a bright sunny day....
We have been here twice this year and the first time we stayed our room was amazing, clean, and comfortable. This time around the room was in need of some updating, and better cleaning specifically in the bathroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the bed closest to the bathroom needs to be rotated, when you sit down you almost fall backwards. The morning staff is not the most pleasant, a smile goes a long way. The restaurant is always good and the views are beautiful....
