Very disappointed in the restaurant. The service was terrible. The food tasted like cardboard and way overpriced!!! I will ever return.

This inn is clean and well maintained. It's located conveniently to shopping and food. The property is large, and even has walking paths and a small garden. It has great amenities including an indoor pool, restaurant, and bar. There was plenty of parking. The thermostat in our room really worked. In our room: I wish the bathroom sink countertop was slightly bigger for our respective toiletries. I wish there were nightstands on both sides of the bed. Note for anyone with mobility issues: There are second floor rooms, but we didn't find an elevator.
Overall: We would definitely choose this inn again for future trips.

Food wasn't just bad it was HORRIBLE! The Brussels sprouts were burnt. The potatoes were raw inside. The peach cobbler crust was good but the peaches were hard. The green beans were good. Steak was mostly gristle. Definitely NOT a pleasant experience. WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD! Service was good.

No complementary coffee when you arrive. No free breakfast. No microwave. No refrigerator. No counter space in the bathroom. Quiet room. Hot water. No thanks...

I can be a little picky about hotels, and I absolutely loved my stay at Brown County Inn. I came for a wedding and stayed 4 nights Wed-Sun.

The room was cute, plenty of lighting, plenty of space and surfaces for me to put my stuff on. I appreciate that housekeeping doesn't enter until you leave, but they were in the halls during our stay and very helpful when asked. All the cleaning staff we met were unbelievably friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was exactly what I look for at a hotel. The space felt clean, the towels were in perfect condition, the shower has a TON of shelves for you to put all your things, and they give a small tube of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and extra TP and towels. There were also irons available upon request from the front desk.

Since I was there mid-Oct, several of the days it was warm enough to open the garage doors to the pool, and I could kind of see and talk to my family from my second floor balcony. The heated pool has one shallow end and one deep end with a rope across indicating where the slope starts to get deeper, and there are pool towels available to use and then discard in the big towel bin.

Mini golf! Free clubs, balls, scorecards and golf pencils available to use. It was SO much fun. There were also other amenities around that we didn't use, like the playground, volleyball, and lawn games like cornhole and big Connect4.

In the rear of the property, the path goes left towards the supermarket/shopping complex, or right under the bridge towards the center of town. It's so close to everything that you can either eat in the attached bar/restaurant or take a quick walk into town.

For the wedding reception, we had a huge tent set up outside between the mini golf and garden areas. It was PERFECT, even in the rain. Guests were able to use the bathrooms located just inside, and still enjoy the outdoor amenities.

My one hesitation was that the 2-Queen rooms are not guaranteed refrigerators - 1-King rooms will have them, and it seems like a toss up as to whether or not other room types will get one, too (other people in the wedding with 2-Queen rooms did have mini fridges in their rooms, where I did not). This didn't matter to me as I just used my parents' fridge, but if you need one be sure to book a room where that is assured.

I'm from NY but I'd love to come back to stay here and enjoy the area some more!

Great place but was a bit disappointed with the room. The bathroom door wouldn't close correctly. The toilet tissue holder broke as soon as we touched it. The sink drained really slowly. But it was still a nice place.

Such a nice little inn with easy access to all the shops downtown. There's a trolley train that circulates around town and stops in town so that you don't have to fuss with parking which can be hard and is expensive. They have a nice breakfast buffet, an indoor swimming pool, putt-putt golf, a children's play area, and a bar. We were there for such a short time we didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities but we will be back!

We loved our room and how close the hotel was to the shops.

We didn't stay in the hotel but we did go for breakfast. The food was great and reasonably priced.

We haven't stayed there yet but have rooms booked soon. The food was ok, but the beef Manhattan had more greenbean water than anything.

Great rooms and very clean everywhere.
