Food was good, the lattes were foamy, and the service was great. This restaurant is a staple for me when I come to Nashville. The vibe is laid back and so are the prime. They have limited vegan options but they are not an afterthought so that's nice as well.
My best friend flew in for a girls' weekend on the coldest day in recent memory, and top on our list was to eat here. We were SO glad we went! My friend is mostly vegetarian but will eat some fish, and she was very impressed by the menu's many vegan and vegetarian options. We both ordered the salmon patty and fried green tomato eggs Benedict. Hands-down our favorite dining experience during our 48 hours, and we ate at some of the best restaurants in nearby Bloomington! Bird nest is a great name for this location. It's nestled off the street very convenient courtyard. The food was delicious. My wife commented on the pancakes being the best besides homemade. I tried the sink. It has bacon gravy, which brings an interesting taste to the dish. The service was OK as it is a town in Nashville so have an expectation different.
