We live in Brown County and Brown County Inn is our go to restaurant! In the recent snow event yesterday, our daughter from Bloomington was in the worst of it. 46 got shut down for a while. Our road was impassable. She just turned around and went to Brown county Inn because she couldn’t make it and she got a wonderful meal! Stayed here 15-20 years ago for a couple of anniversary weekends and it was good then. Last year I stayed for a girls overnight with a friend and it was even better, lol. The rooms have been updated but the place still has the rustic charm that I like about it in the first place. Rooms are clean, the front desk and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful.
