“We stayed at the Brown County Inn, which was a great hotel and then ate at the harvest dining room. We ordered the drunken fish. I really didn't care for it. The beer was just too overwhelming in the batter needed to be cooked long. The fish was soggy, the Brussels sprouts are amazing, just get you some Thai chili sauce on the side to add to them. Because they are bland.“

“My wife and I held our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Big Wood's Pizza in Nashville on Labor Day weekend. Everything was top notch. From the breadsticks to the pizza and cocktails. Alex the AGM, Blake and Caitlin who served us were excellent from beginning to end. We cannot thank you enough for the awesome experience. We highly recommend patronizing this establishment when you visit Nashville Indiana.👏👏👏“

“Rafters is a Nashville gem! Great food and great prices! Service is great as well; highly recommend if you’re in the area.“
“Enjoyed some great bourbon…Four Grain was my favorite 😊. The food was really good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The service we received from our server, Hunter and from another very engaged employee, Cooper, was outstanding. These two young people were a great example of a wonderful culture that must exist at Hard Truth. Thanks to both of them for an amazing experience. We will definitely return. 😊“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We had a wonderful meal at The Nashville House on one of their busiest Fridays in October. The food was delicious, and the staff were both friendly and efficient! I especially want to thank the owner for her gracious help after we accidentally left a purse with a phone inside. Since we were traveling and couldn’t return, the staff immediately secured it and assured us it would be mailed. The owner personally took care of sending it safely, which we deeply appreciate. That kind of care and professionalism, especially during such a busy time, really stands out. Highly recommend this charming spot!“
“I stayed 09/25/-09/27 under my sister reservation for 4 of us. Greetings from the Front Desk was not pleasant at all. She acted like she didn't like people. We had a room upstairs originally, but after loaded 4 of us girls belongs on one small cart we found out NO elevator. My niece went to ask front desk for downstairs room instead, but we had to wait until 4:00 so we was told to leave cart up front by her area and that there was a security camera there as well for safety. I went up to reservation desk area to check on where they place our belongings on the cart. I told the unfriendly lady that we had too much of things to carry upstairs..She stated "Well, she knew that we didn't have an "elevator "because she said that my sister even said "2nd floor and no elevator. I walked out and told my sister what she said and my sister and nieces all said NO SHE DIDN"T. I didn't think that the registration lady needed to be accommodating nicely instead of being unpleasant. Then, Thursday night we went to the br to hear the last 1/2hr. to watch the band. We sat in the front row. Us girls were enjoying being all together(MY sister and 2 nieces as well as myself) laughing and cutting up. As soon as one of their songs were over the guitar lady ( Rogers's sister maybe named Denise) called us out morels on her Microphone asking.Did you just come from the bar across the way, then we said no ..she says making it a late night ..there is a Police Station right down the road and repeated one again ...There is a Police Station down the road. In front of everyone who was sitting in the bar area. For one, My sister had Bronchitis and my niece just got them a drink and myself had water. I did not drink at all any alcohol the whole time I stayed there. I did not say anything back to her because I was so stunned on what she said directly to us in front of everyone on her microphone. These were 2 huge experiences that I we had there. Now, for the most positive experiences was Miss Emma(long haired Food waitress...she was very delightful, courteous, attentive for 3 different occasions in the restaurant Thurs. & Fri. Vicki, ( who was in charge...I believe... for Room Service, etc. she was also friendly with always a smile, attentive, and courteous. I wanted to share this Feedback . Thank you for reading this and I hope the negative things will be addressed. Pam Jackson, Connersville, IN.“

“Brown County style meets good ol’ fried chicken, and suddenly I’m ten years old again, growing up in central Indiana with gravy on the plate and nostalgia in both pockets.
We ate at the Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park, one of those beloved Hoosier places that feels like it was built out of limestone, oak beams, family memories, and somebody’s grandma’s good judgment.
Old-timer pro tip: ask for the fried biscuits and apple butter first thing. And tell ’em no cinnamon and sugar. That’s an abomination. This ain’t no churro. This is Brown County, and we have standards.
The fried chicken hit the table like it had a contract with my childhood. Crispy, comforting, country, and honest enough to make Abe Martin set down his pipe and nod.
As Abe might say, “When a feller says it hain’t the money, but the principle of the thing, it’s the money.” But in this case, it ain’t the money or the principle. It’s the fried biscuits.
And my favorite Abe-style vacation truth still holds: a vacation often benefits the folks left behind as much as the feller who takes it. But after this meal, I’m not sure anyone benefited from me leaving. I may have carried half the apple butter home in my soul.
Brown County State Park Lodge: still a Hoosier treasure, still worth the winding road, and still dangerous to anyone who thinks they’re just “having a light lunch.”“

“I rated this place when the hotel came up.
Went there for a quick bite. Got some burgers and my wife got breaded chicken sandwich. Food was very good and the waiter was very attentive. Got our order rather fast and very satisfied with the food . In my opinion the price was very reasonable. Worth our visit.“

“Indiana is famous for it's pork tenderloin sandwich. Most are as large as a plate and served golden brown. I highly recommend NOT expecting sure a presentation at this restaurant. My pork tenderloin arrived about the same size as a hamburger bun, dark brown with light black edges. Additionally, the tomato was nearly as thick as a playing card. I could view the menu through the tomato fruit. Time limitation and everyone else being served prevented sending it back.“
“I love this place. Clean rooms at great price. We took my 7 year old and he went down the slide at water park 150 times. Has a great indoor water park. With a wonderful breakfast buffet and dinner buffet also. The people working at this place treat you like family and are all around great people. I'm telling you I have been to a lot of places and this is in top five best places ever. I'm telling you if you ever go to Brown county Indiana this is a must. The park is beautiful with horse rides a Olympic sive out door swimming pool and the Abe Martin lodge is beautiful indoor and out. A must stay for any and everyone“
