We went one time with friends and never went back. The food definitely was nothing to write home about. The service wasn't much better. Got blocked by a truck, they refused to ask over the intercom to please move their vehicle so we could get out, no help whatsoever ( why should they since they already had our money?) and it took up 20 minutes to literally inch our way out of the parking space. Never again!
Indiana is famous for it's pork tenderloin sandwich. Most are as large as a plate and served golden brown. I highly recommend NOT expecting sure a presentation at this restaurant. My pork tenderloin arrived about the same size as a hamburger bun, dark brown with light black edges. Additionally, the tomato was nearly as thick as a playing card. I could view the menu through the tomato fruit. Time limitation and everyone else being served prevented sending it back.
Enjoyed some great bourbon…Four Grain was my favorite 😊. The food was really good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The service we received from our server, Hunter and from another very engaged employee, Cooper, was outstanding. These two young people were a great example of a wonderful culture that must exist at Hard Truth. Thanks to both of them for an amazing experience. We will definitely return. 😊

The Restaurant at Hard Truth offers a hidden gem dining experience in Nashville, Indiana. Guests can enjoy delicious food and drinks on the patio with a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and personable, providing great service despite occasional slow service times. The property features a tasting room for whiskey enthusiasts and a merchandise store as a bonus. Recent reviews highlight Indiana's famous pork tenderloin sandwich, which is usually large and golden brown, though at this restaurant it arrived smaller and darker with black edges, with a very thin tomato slice. Some customers enjoyed the experience, noting the fun tour of how bourbon is made and recommending the restaurant alongside the tour, with nachos being a favorite. Others experienced delays and cold meals, but appreciated the kind and apologetic staff who handled the situation well. Overall, the experience is enjoyable with a mix of great flavors and memorable moments.
