Perfection across the board
Brown County style meets good ol’ fried chicken, and suddenly I’m ten years old again, growing up in central Indiana with gravy on the plate and nostalgia in both pockets.
We ate at the Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park, one of those beloved Hoosier places that feels like it was built out of limestone, oak beams, family memories, and somebody’s grandma’s good judgment.

Keep expectations low. We only came bc it’s convenient since we are staying at the hotel. I didn’t want anything heavy and got the chicken cranberry pecan salad, but they forgot the chicken so I had to wait. It was a full dining room and very busy, so mistakes will happen, staff try their best but it’s a wait. Salad had an *off taste. Kids chicken tenders were pretty good.
