“My husband and I went to Nashville over the weekend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We heard about this place from the neighbors of the bed and breakfast we stayed at. We went as soon as they opened Sunday morning at 7am. We loved it! They had was some regulars in there that we're cutting up with us and made us feel at home. The waitress Amy was so sweet and attentive. They were short staffed and she ended up helping out in the kitchen. Still made a point to check on us and make sure we we're doing okay. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and fried potato chunks and they were delicious.My husband got an off the menu trucker's special and I tried some of his and it was delicious also he really enjoyed his meal. We talked to the waitress afterwards and was able to tell her a little of our story and we enjoyed it so much we came back for lunch when my parents surprised us with our daughter. My husband and I were still full from breakfast so I just ordered an appetizer mozzarella sticks. And my husband just got the peanut butter pie. My mom ordered the truckers special also minus the eggs and a pancake and she really enjoyed it! And my dad ordered the dark meat fried chicken special he also really enjoyed his meal. My daughter ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy and a pancake she ate all of her biscuits and gravy and loved it! She was too full to eat the pancake. We all enjoyed the food so much. Afterwards we ordered 3 pieces of pie to share. My dad Butter Scotch Pie, my mom chocolate pie, and my husband the peanut butter pie and they were all delicious. We had Amy as our waitress for lunch too. She was so sweet and blessed us for our anniversary by comping my husband's pie. Amy was amazing and it was a pleasure to meet her and the food was delicious we can't wait to go back!!“
