We love Nashville Indiana and try different places to eat. This was a great place for food. We were a small group and there were no complaints. The server was friendly and helpful. The singer Dave Miller was the icing on the cake. He has a terrific tenor voice and a good number of songs. Easy listening and pop music. Sings Friday and Saturday night.

My husband and myself stayed in Brown County over the weekend. We came to Rafters around 9. The service and food were both wonderful even considering they close at 10. My husband had the fish and I had 3 piece fried chicken. It was all absolutely delicious especially the fish! If your planning a trip to Nashville I recommend the Lil Black Bear Inn B&B, and a trip to Rafters!

They have your regular bar foods, but they also have some really great appetizer items that I'm now craving regularly! The fried pickles are a favorite of my granddaughter, and the cheese curds are delish. We don't usually get the biscuits and apple butter only because we are native Brown Countians, and we've grown up on that. If you like fried mushrooms, then you HAVE to try theirs. Oh, I can eat the whole thing by myself... which means I have to get a to go box for another fave, the southwest salad...yum! Add chicken, and you have a nice protein boosted meal. The burgers and tenderloins are a repeat order with other family members, and the fried chicken is a must try. The service can be slow, but I think that is likely due to a lack of help. The staff is friendly and tries to make you feel appreciated.

We came in here shorty after they opened for the day. The menu online looked promising along with a couple of good reviews. We stopped in on our way to do some shopping. It's very clean and the person that seated us was nice. Our server Janet seemed a little irritated when my wife asked for Splenda and lemon but other wise was fine. I got a grilled chicken sandwich that didn't look like it touched a grill and They may have sprinkled a little pepper on it but that's about it, it definitely lacked flavor. I had to cut a lot of gristle out of the chicken which for me wasn't appealing. Probably won't be on our list to come back when in the area.

I can't rate the food as my girlfriend and I just came here for drinks at the bar.There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but that's probably largely in part to Craig Morgan performing across the street at Brown County Music Hall later in the evening.I had two Le-Mooo-ade Shake up, one plain and one flavored with strawberry. Both were spectacular. I also had a Caribbean Mule and a Kentucky Mule. Both were amazing.My girlfriend had a glass of wine and an old fashion (my girlfriend use to be a bartender) she said the old fashion was perfectly made.They were super busy but very attentive to the customers. They actually use jiggers, so don't think you're going to be heavy poured here.That could be disheartening to some, but that saves the restaurant/bar a lot of money, which can keep them open.We'll be going back and trying the food probably tomorrow.It's a very relaxed atmosphere and very chilled spot to just have a few drinks.Their drink prices are in par and actually on the lower end then some.places I've been to.

Sat at bar. When it was convenient for bartender to say something to me several minutes after arrival and poking on the computer ignoring me, my order was taken. Ordered appetizer and entree. Finished my drink after 5 minutes and proceeded to sit with an empty glass for the next 20 minutes with nothing to drink with my food. Had to intentionally speak at the bartender to get my check at the end because still nothing ever said to me. Watched bartender attend to other people in the meantime.
