Food was a 5 star until they changed their menu. How are there no pork street tacos at a taco place? The Meat in the tacos that came out was still cold, the queso wasn't even melted they gave us either.

Service was incredibly slow for us being the first customers of the day. That being said, the entire place looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a couple days. Bathrooms were gross tables weren't wiped down and previous nights garbage still on the floor. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Stayed open in service during an active sewer leak that flooded the whole kitchen with human feces.

My husband and I ate at Agave and Rye last Sunday. We both ate the queso and Unfortunately we both got very sick. I reached out by email to Agave and Rye. I have still not heard a word back. We will definitely not be eating here again!

Decided to try this new to me resturant with my mother as an outing. Upon walking in, it's very nice and the apperal is too cute/funny. Not too many options on the menu, seems as if a lot is also spicy. Got the rooster, plain Jane & another hamburger taco w/fried potatoes. My chicken was NOWHERE near hot/fresh, looks as if it was a whole breast, cut in half. There was barely any Nashville hot sauce, the Mac was okay/different. My mother enjoyed her taco although the potatoes were fried and no hashed... i probably wouldn't recommend this place. Nor will I be back.

The menu is very good and the food exceeded our expectations. On the day we went (Saturday 1/19/25) the place was mostly empty but the customer parking lot was full. We had to park across the street. So I would give 5 stars but the lot was full with employees parking and when we went to use the restroom, both were occupied by employees. Should make an employee bathroom cuz you know the customer is a priority. Right?

First time there and Victoria was our server and our experience exceeded our expectations. She was nice and attentive. We will definitely be back again. Loved the crown jewel and the vegetarian meatball taco was better than expected.

Vegetarian options: They all looked great, but I got the meatball one.

Our waiter, Jeremy, was absolutely incredible!! He was such a fun personality (probably because he's a fellow Michigander 😉) and was full of great suggestions! He helped me secure the amazing skull glasses that I wanted to bring home by taking my side in my Valentine's Day argument with my husband. But truly, hands down, he was one of the best waiters we ever had!! The tacos were amazing! So many incredible combinations and the flight option allowed us to try multiple combos. The Filthy Fajita and the Gangsta were really good. And the margaritas were to die for. Highly, highly recommend! And make sure to ask for Jeremy! He will take amazing care of you!!

I want to like this place so much. The vibes are super nice. The art and layout is super cool. This is a great hangout spot in the Spring and Summer. However, the food has been extremely inconsistent and the staff has been just as inconsistent. There are times we leave satisfied and the staff was friendly, then there are times the food is cold, poorly seasoned, or soggy. The staff has left us hanging at our table multiple times waiting for a long time while they talk with their coworkers. I get it, the vibes are fun and I'm never one to complain about that, but we waited over 20 min for our bill after asking for it the last time we went and the food wasn't great.
TLDR: Gimmick taco joint with SOME good items (Sugar Daddy of the Plain Jane to name a good one) but other times the flavors do not mix. Staff is hit or miss. Go there for cocktails on the roof in the summer for some fun.
