“Great first experience. First off, my wife left her phone at the bar when we left and the Lady Bartender ran out to catch us and return it! Very much appreciated and we'll be sure to catch her again next time to show our thanks. The beer was good. Shakezilla was spot on for my wife's preferred flavor style. I had the Zombie Kombi and the Braun Jovi and both were good representations of their style. The Zucchini chips we excellent, very crisp. The Burger Slider and the Reuben sandwich were both very good and the fries were some of the best I've had anywhere. The only little negative was the 1000 Island Dressing, not sure if it was bottled or house made but it could be tarted up a bit...literally, I'd ad some lime juice or maybe a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar. It barely tasted like anything other than mayo. Oh, we finished with the Bread Pudding which was very good and not skimpy on the portion as we couldn't finish it and took it home for later. We're local, we'll be back.“

“I enjoyed the time I spent at Akasha trying some of their beers. Both the bartender and the customers seemed really welcoming and friendly, and I had a few interesting conversations with them. The beers I tried were all sours, and they were delicious. The beer quality seemed high, and there were no off flavors. The gose and peach chiffon sour were very tasty, and I’d love to try their other beers someday. Next time I visit Louisville I’ll have to stop by again.“

“Louisville brewery hop stop #2. Such a cool place - a brewery at the end of the local market. Was fun to walk around and see the merchants. Not as large a beer selection as other breweries, but what we had was tasty. Video games and pinball machines nearby make for a fun day.“

“We had some sort of technical error with our bills (apparently a first) but the staff was so friendly and willing to understand the issue and resolve it in any way they could. Really stellar and welcoming team, especially the GM who helped us deal with the issue and was just lovely! Not to mention the great drinks, food, and atmosphere.“

“We went here for a bingo event and had an absolute blast! I wont lie, when we first walked in the vibe just seemed off. We weren't greeted by anyone and had no clue where to sit or how to order drinks or food. We finally asked one of the staff members and got it all figured out. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly! The bingo event was so much fun and we won a bunch of really cool prizes! We will definitely be returning!“

Another great example of how freshness impacts craft breweries more than a lot of other packaged products. I am not a frequent buyer of Against the Grain as a packaged product, but I would drink this beer anytime on draft, especially at the brewery or pub! Great work!“

“We stopped here once we went to Angel’s Envy because they were closed. The bartender was so nice and gave some really good advice on a bourbon. He wasn’t too busy so he was waiting on tables while bartending. Nice place, good cocktails and service“
