“Winnie was the owner's mother; owner Paula Cook (what an ironic last name!) herself is usually on duty to take & fill orders; she even has a cot to sleep in the back during busy times; because it is a small operation, there are sometimes gaps in when the store is staffed, so open hours DO occasionally vary from what is posted on the front, but there is generally someone around during the main part of the day Mon - Sat; go by & have lunch & see for yourself; my husband & I can recommend the Italian sandwich, chicken salad on croissant, potato salad, & cream cheese tea cake cookies; there are always different sweet treats in the case to try; she serves hot meals, Boar's Head deli meats, takes orders for all kinds of baked goods, & has a meeting/party room in back that accommodates about 20; she would love to host your group for lunch“
“Top notch for the niche. Excellent breakfast burrito, customer service, and pricing. Only difficulty was actually finding the location since it's not street-front and kind of tucked away. “Everything was so good I got myself a turkey with American cheese bacon onion pickle Green pepper banana peppers mayo on hoagie bun. "Only pic is half the sandwich " I shared with my daughter. it was absolutely delicious , I got to 12oz bowls soup one bean one broccoli and cheddar! The smaller container of bacon pasta salad. I should had got the larger one see pics for proof I almost forgot to take pictures it was so good. My son got a blueberry muffin he ate that in the car did not get picture but he loved it! Very fresh first time customer will definitely drive the distance from home to enjoy again !“
“The guys in here were very nice and quick, the place was clean and warm, (in the winter) my smoked turkey sandwich was delicious and fresh. They had a wide selection of drinks candy and snacks. If I resided here in Louisville I would frequent this establishment.“

“I picked up a ham and turkey two days before Thanksgiving. The line was long and it took a while but what do you expect? Everyone was working hard and it was mostly orderly. Long lines and a wait should be expected for a business that sees its order volume go up a million percent for one week a year. My only complaint is they should mark the lines a little more clearly. The food was great!“
