They were open on New Year’s Day unlike some others in town so we were happy. The donuts we tried were wonderful. I recommend the apple fritter.

The place is dinky, and I mean I know it's been around forever but it's been up for auction, and when we were there this morning I can understand why. As we were looking at the VERY limited selection we noticed a cockroach crawling around with the long johns. The young girl behind the counter did not wear gloves nor did she wash her hands between customers and after touching her face and hair. If this is their standard perhaps it's for the best they are auctioned off. I wouldn't eat anything out of there.
Parking: Don't bother trying to park in the dinky parking lot behind the store but good luck finding street parking unless you are up with the birds.. (as I was at 5:30 am)

Something has changed been going here since the 90's ...9/2024 ..well I Got there around 8 am bought a dozen D's .I was not told or warned ,but all donuts were at least a day old if not older and stale .I paid full price for that slop... Won't go again it's went down hill . PLAIN OLD SUGA SLOP! Don't waste your money.

Wanted some sweets close by went here to get a strawberry glazed donut they handed out a stale tasting donut with frosting slapped on it with no effort
I was in New Albany and needed donuts. So I stopped by. Damn these are expensive. The same thing at Nords would have been just 20 for 2 dozen. Just 2 dozen was 48 dollars. No wonder when I asked how much a dozen was they didn't tell me. 1st time and last time. I will stick to Nords.
