Our party got the calamari and the hush puppies which were some of the best I've had. Mia was our server and she was top notch. This was my first visit to Outcast and I can't wait to go back!

Rachel! Thank you for the solid smoked old fashioned queen! We just moved here from Vegas and hadn't had a good one yet! Your calamari recommendation did not disappoint either! Thank you! We will be back!! Cool vibe, fresh fish daily and this place will promptly be added to our regular stops!

Oysters were the highlight of the meal. Brussel sprout with scallops had no flavor, only oil. Broccoli in salad all brown on the ends. Smoked fish dip full of chuck s with no flavor.

Great first experience! Oysters were fresh and tuna tartare and ceviche were amazing. Oysters Rockefeller were perfectly done. Servers were attentive and friendly. Restaurant and restrooms are clean and inviting. Recommend!

Food was good, restaurant is priced as upscale dinning, menu is limited was expecting more seafood options. The oysters were good but super small and super high priced given their size.Weekend before had delicious oysters easily 4 times the size at lowered price in South Carolina, just saying. Price on our trip to Outcast was not really a concern but when Oysters Rockefeller arrived I was disappointed.BC

Was OK. Rolls were the star, some of the best rolls ive ever had, but they should be complimentary, not $5, for the price of entrees I feel like the bread could be free. "Seared" Scallops could have used a little more sear, "charred" brussels could have used a little more char, Gnocchi was surprisingly overcooked given that the rest of my dish was undercooked. Raw oysters were good-ish- not the restaurant's fault, but there was not much meat in them. Fish and chips was just OK, worth $12 not $23 got 3 little pieces that was mostly breading, not crispy, and a handful of undercooked wedges. Cocktail I had was ok (Mass Appeal) but too sweet and too big for an Aperol and champagne cocktail, who puts ice in a champagne cocktail? being a former mixologist, I was too embarrassed for the bartender to even take a pic of it. I expected something smaller and more bitter. Service was great. Brian did a great job. Atmosphere was super loud, but that's not the restaurants fault either, it's a small shotgun type place and the table next to us were very loud and rude and ran our server to death leaving him not much time to tend to his other tables, which was OK with us, we are easy. Music they played was good, early 2000s. We didnt complain and tipped 35%, but we won't be back. Not too bad but not very good overall. I would pass on it and go to Brooklyn&Butcher for a true Downtown New Albany date night, which we love, and will happily spend $200 for a meal. I know it's the same owners. Good try though, guys. I would say close it down and focus your time, money, and staff on Brooklyn&Butcher

The food we had was wonderful. The wood grilled oysters were amazing and the key lime pie was the best I've ever had. The service was fantastic; our waitress Mia was on top of everything and was very knowledgeable on the menu. Highly recommend if you're a landlocked seafood lover.

Deshaun was an excellent server! Prompt and attentive to a party of 8. Did a good job of making dinner more of an experience, didn't feel rushed. The fish and chips were good, it was hot and not mushy. It's traditional fish with a heavy batter. The scallops were good and the Brussel sprouts were excellent! The oysters were fresh and delicious!

Best spot possible for seafood this side of the Ohio River. Oysters were varied and tasted like they came out of the of the sea and hour ago swordfish was great!
