I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.
I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.
They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.
This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.
I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.
I will definitely come back and try their curry.

This place is STELLAR! I’m a retired chef that went to culinary school in London, UK. This place blew me away. One of my favorite spots in the Highlands now.
The back of house team is extremely skilled—well done to all the chefs on the line. Please feel proud of your accomplishments.
Every part of the meal is cooked and prepared to absolute perfection. The bun is fresh and perfectly toasted on their sandwiches. The fish and chips batter is crispy, light, and golden. The seasoning is spot on.
The menu is focused around modern Irish and European/German food. Anyone who has been to Europe in the past 20 years would know that curry is strongly part of European culture now. And this menu takes that cultural pairing to the next level.
As a family of dual citizens (Irish/American) the menu is both refreshing (as no one else provides this food in Louisville) and comforting (sometimes I miss being able to go around the corner to Burdocks in Dublin—the fish and chips here is just fantastic).
As for drinks—many options on tap and in cans with rotating cocktails. I love the large addition of non-alcoholic beer too! So wonderful to be inclusive and have options. They also served me the best Irish coffee I’ve ever had in my life.
I also can’t sign off without commending the front of house staff too. They are all incredibly welcoming and warm.
So, thank you to Pints and Union for coming to the Highlands and being dedicated to your craft. Can’t wait to go back. Picture attached is my Chicken Schnitzel sandwich (es ist sehr lecker danke :) ). I’m very much looking forward to all the unique specials in the future!

Was way better when it was in New Albany. Staff has changed. Food is smaller and not as tasty. Their beer menu has shrunk.

Welcome to the Highlands Pints and Union! So glad to see you here!!! Absolutely the BEST smash burger in town. Not a burger fan? They offer a
variety of curry dishes and other options. Always a different beer selection. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Upstairs has a micro brew option and lots of seating. A great place to chill with a drink or food and drink.

Great atmosphere, good selection of beers. I wish it were a Microbrewery, but for a standalone pub I thought they did a great choice with selection. Atmosphere, particularly on the upper level is awesome. Staff was outstanding. Very relaxed and helpful. This was my first visit and I plan to go to regularly.

I just went to the new Pints and Union Bardstown location and It was fabulous! We had a large group and the staff were all so accommodating. They made us feel welcome and right at home. We sat upstairs where the ambience felt fun and cozy like un eclectic, swanky version of cheers. We especially enjoyed the selection of games. I ordered the fish and chips and it was perfect. The portions, the flavors, all of it. Delicious. They truly have some of the best chefs in the area.
The owners were on site and personally checked in with us. It’s the most fun I’ve had in a while. I will definitely be back soon, and I definitely recommend.

This has a vibe for all...food is English Pub style which elevates typical bar food. The upstairs is open always unlike Public House...it's warm and inviting. Welcome to the neighborhood Pints and Union!

I had the pleasure of randomly running into the owner last night while out having a beer at a local bar. After speaking for a bit and him mentioning his place, I knew I had to come in for dinner this evening. I'm so glad I did. The atmosphere, food, and service were all spot on. Each of the dishes were delicious and the value was quite high. I absolutely will be back the next time I'm in Louisville. If you are looking for something a bit outside the norm, in a place that anyone can feel comfortable, Pints & Union is definitely the place to check out.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and board games upstairs.
