“I had beef rib and it was cooked & seasoned perfectly. Husband had amazing catfish... it was real catfish, not that swai fish that places serve. The sides & peach cobbler were wonderful! Everyone there was so friendly & helpful. We haven't found soul food like this in a long time. We will be back.“

“This restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint. The fried chicken, chicken and noodles, green beans and cornbread were beyond amazing. To top it off I had the hurricane, which is red and purple koolaid mixed with lemonade. UNBELIEVABLE! 1000 out of 10.
If I make it back to Louisville, I’ll definitely return.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my fried catfish, greens and dressing with gravy. The sweet tea with lemon was very refreshing. My sister also liked her catfish sandwich and sweet potato side. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“My co worker and I came here one night and got the catfish dinner was fire. My co worker don’t like catfish but loves their catfish. It was piping hot. The only downfall is both times we ate here they were out of certain things but gave us a chance to try other sides which were delicious.“

“I went to the lunch buffet yesterday. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The food was excellent. A great variety and it was piping hot. Seasoned well no need to add salt or peppers. Going again soon.“

“Saw the picture of the chicken wings on Facebook and they looked like Grannies use to so I decided to stop by and get an order of them and I was not disappointed. They were hot seasoned and delicious, just like Grannies were back in the day. Now I know that I have a place to go to get some good food cooked to order hot and fresh at a fair price right off the Shawnee Expressway.

“The food was delicious! The service was also incredible. Our server was so sweet and helpful and so was the owner of the restaurant. My family and I went to celebrate and we loved the food so much! Our experience was a 10/10. The music was also a vibe! Definitely recommend.“
