“This place was fantastic!! The service and hospitality were top notch. The selections of wine and bourbon were great! It was hard to leave without spending a small fortune. You can have a drink and try some options before purchasing. Very reasonably priced offerings, to very expensive offerings. Something for everyone!“

“Beyond decent. I love the humbled mindset that Jeanne and John have created here. Be welcomed by beautiful plants and pops of contrasting color brightened by the large window storefront. Browse, chat with Jeanne, and be amazed that after shopping for your new Silver Satin Exotica you can refresh with some curated spirits. The back portion of the shop acts as their bar. Stocked with Mezcal and Rums from many regions of Mexico. John knows and LOVES this stuff. Gavin, he's nice as hell to be tending bar as well.Every few months the flagship cocktails change for a new seasonal lineup, so be sure to pop in often.“
“Such an awesome experience! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a large group, and not only did they seat us right away, but they walked through anyone’s questions about drinks. On top of excellent customer service, the drinks were very tasty! Highly recommend!“

“We had dinner there last night with some of our family for our grandson’s birthday. The food was excellent! The service was superb with all the waitresses being so friendly and exceptionally helpful to us. It was a wonderful birthday celebration and we will definitely be going back to “bar Vetti” again and highly recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for a great evening!“

“What's not to like? Lots of specials throughout the week (Sunday discounted wine, Monday all day happy hour) plus have events like tastings and music. Lots of fun stuff to try, my only quibble is every time I've tried the empanada the dough has been dry but it is a wine bar“
“We have lived in the area for two years and just happen to go in today with my mother-in-law and kids. The service was amazing the drinks were well priced. Their dog was absolutely perfect and sweet. Definitely recommend their old fashioned!“

“Best wine spot in Louisville, great to have a place that takes wine seriously. Always worth stopping in to see what John and his team are pouring. Great patio in the summer, we really love that it's 21+ and that we can go have an adult beverage in an adult setting.“

“We had the most magical afternoon at The Champagnery’s Holiday High Tea. We had wonderful tea, a beautiful tower of sweet and savory food and a wonderful bottle of champagne. The staff was gracious and the atmosphere beautiful. They even accommodated a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!“

“I've taken a few friends to this speakeasy -- and it's been a wonderful experience every time. Tracy is a fantastic bartender, on top of it, who makes every interaction feel warm and personable. Natasha as well is quick and efficient, with such a kind smile. Each drink I've had has been tasty, and I've enjoyed each one. The ambiance is wonderful, and the live jazz is always on point. I'd recommend anyone go here--and I have recommended many go here!“

“I went in to get fish dinner. I ordered by phone. Kelsey was very kind and took my order, telling me it would be 15-20 min. I decided to wait in the car, then realized, NCAA was playing , so I went in and stood at the bar to watch the games. Kelsey was working the bar. Taking food and beverage orders, running food to the bar, handling carry out, getting bar drinks for the servers, and keeping up on her dishes. She apologized to me for my wait, but I was early. I got my food in 20 min exactly. She was busy, but she was very cool. I'm sure she was stressed, but handled everything really well.I really love this place.“

“We were tourists scouting the area and heard this women-owned restaurant/pub has great appetizers and pizzas. What a beautiful restaurant storefront and friendly staff! Seating arrangements abound, with tables and chairs, booths, plumb couches, and a fireplace to cozy up with friends. There is also bar seating, which seems to be a favorite among locals. We asked who the owner is and were delighted that Barbara Haas was there and came over to our table to talk with us.One of the highlights of our visit was the unique Pesto & Veggie pizza on the menu. It's a delightful choice when you're in the mood for something lighter. I highly recommend the Hazelnut Goat Toast and the Charcuterie Boar for sharable entrees and appetizers. The Hazelnut Goat Toast, in particular, was a pleasant surprise with its roasted nuts and smoky honey, adding a burst of unique flavors. We were most impressed to see how all the staff love working here. The atmosphere is light and fun. They were all eager to serve us, and conversations with them were most pleasant. Our waitress offered menu suggestions that were ideal for our appetites. They let you make reservations in advance to attend events or book a party. Easy access for strollers and wheelchairs as there are no steps to the front entrance. The large front windows let sunlight pour in, and you can see other pleasantries on the street. It’s a pleasure to see this beautiful historic building so well maintained and bustling with happy patrons. While living in Minnesota, we plan to visit again if in the New Albany / Louisville area.“
