Attended the Thanksgiving Dinner at the campus dining hall. The food was amazing. There was very little waiting. Plenty of seats. Staff was awesome. Very efficient. Just a wonderful experience. So relaxing and just a joy. Would definitely do it again. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work.
Conversations with your friends are always great. Meaningful conversations with your friends are even better. However, meaningful conversations with your friends over a marvelously prepared meal are indeed the best; and Notre Dame Campus Dining cultivates this each time one walks into one of their locations. As someone who is gluten-sensitive, it can be tiresome (and often impossible) to find fresh, available options when dining out. Imagine my surprise when I came to ND and discovered the vast resources and inclusivity efforts for those with dietary restrictions. Not only does ND Campus Dining post comprehensive nutritional information online, but they also place convenient, accessible labels on their (delicious!) food options in the dining halls. South Dining Hall is a nice spot with a variety of options. While the small space can feel hectic, the old building is well-maintained and offers plenty of seating and private areas. The food is great, with exceptional staff, and the Thanksgiving Dinner was a highlight, with efficient service and plenty of seats.
