Awesome little restaurant. Everyone was super nice, the prices are fair, and I love all the decorations. The Breakfast Stromboli is the stuff of dreams though- it’s honestly the best breakfast sandwich that I’ve had anywhere ever. I can’t wait until I’m passing by Oakland City again so that I can come back. ?
Mom's Diner is small and intimate and well loved. It's an unexpected oasis in Oakland City which is near my father's home town if Petersburg.We loved the friendliness of everyone in the restaurant when we arrived ... they recommended biscuits and gravy, someone else recommended the tenderloin sandwich. My SO ordered the tenderloin with a side of onion rings... they have every right to boast bragging rights on the tenderloin! I got the fried fish sandwich (battered)... also delicious....read full review

First tried it when I came to visit with my boyfriend, we ended up going three days in a row!
