Absolutely love Mr. Weenie. Have awesome memories of coming there for root beer as well as other things. Went this past week while I was in Peru visting my mom's grave in Logansport. I remember my aunt and mom going here a lot when I was growing up in the 70s. Love that this place is still here. Have a tenderloin sandwich in fond memory of my mom because that was here favorite. Hadn't had one since visiting Peru when my mom passed in '20. Hope it's still there...
Drive up old style time diner. Its fun for that old feel. Food is good, service is quick, menu is pretty good considering the size of the building. No bathrooms. Faster than fast food.
The sign said they were open until 8:30. Pulled in between 8-8:15. The open sign was shut off already. We asked if they were open like the sign out front stated. The waitress was rude and made it known that she didn't want to take our order. All we needed was a drink and 2 grilled cheese. They had our food done in plenty of time for them to go home at 8:30. There was no need for her to be rude from the get go.
