McDonald's in Portage

“Personally, I dislike McDonald's because not often that things are fresh or hot and greasy for me. After several hours of driving in Nowheresville with no stores but again gas station and a McDonald's. Drive-in we both had a big Mac meal, and surprisingly enough it was fresh, hot, and either we were just starving OR it was very good. Even more so? The lady at the window was polite courteous smiling like she loved her job, but then again she was middle-aged and as such at least acted like she appreciated having a job.“

“Staff provides exceptional service and is friendly with a smile greeting. Service is quick and organized. The coffee is always freshly brewed, hot, and tastes great like a Columbian cup of coffee unlike any other McDonald's. The facility is always clean from the ordering station and dining area to the bathroom.“

“I forgot to ask it the gentleman who helped me was a manager or not, but Chris/Christian was quick and knowledgeable. I ordered some food and wanted to get a couple happy meals toys. He told me they just got another box in and had two other types! I was so excited so of course wanted to get the other ones too. The system said my card was ran previously and she needed help to run it a second time because the system warns about a second charge in “x” amount of time. He was so nice and so helpful! My food was super hot too so it was just made. I don’t go there often and hear bad reviews frequently, but who ever that man is, he is a keeper for the company and location.“
