The Greazy Pickle is a restaurant known for its hand-battered, crispy tenderloin and decent frozen fries. Many of their sandwiches, including the Swiss and mushroom tenderloin, are made by hand, making for a satisfying and filling meal. The restaurant is popular among locals, including police officers and workers, and the waitstaff is described as polite, informative, and patient. It offers a lively atmosphere and reasonable prices, making it a better alternative to fast-food options in town. The tenderloin is often praised as giant and fresh-breaded, with some reviews highlighting it as really good and well worth the drive. Customers frequently enjoy the quick service, hot food, and the generous, saucy boneless chicken wings. The staff, including the cook and owner, check to ensure everything is good, and many visitors, whether for special events or just exploring, find the food and service fabulous and plan to return often. The restaurant can get crowded on Friday nights, leading to longer wait times, but overall, it remains a favorite for its hearty meals and welcoming environment.
