Dairy Queen in Richmond

“Everytime I travel back to my Home town of Richmond Indiana I have to stop by the DQ on South 9th, this past August was no exception. I was battling a terrible Sinus Infection but still have to grab a Wimpy at the DQ. It was still delicious as usual, I wish I could have eaten more than one, but the Sinus Infection was playing havic on my appetite.“

“Had to try Dairy Queen while I was in the US, even though it was definitely cold enough to question that decision.

This one was more of a walk-up window setup, which I haven’t really seen before, especially for an ice cream place, so that was a fun little novelty in itself.

I ordered an ice cream brownie dessert (can’t remember the exact name), and it was so good. Rich, indulgent, and exactly what I was hoping for. Ordering was quick and easy too.“

“May 26, 2025-I recently added the Dairy Queen app to my phone, and I got a free Small Shake. I decided to get a Small Vanilla Shake, and a Medium Diet Coke. The shake was delicious and creamy. This is great for a treat.
UPDATE: June 7, 2025-I decided to come back, and I ordered a Medium Reese's Blizzard and a Medium Diet Coke. This was great! I could taste the Reese's in the Blizzard, and it was delicious. It was a once in a while treat.
UPDATE: June 24, 2025-The last Blizzard I had was good, so I decided to try another one. This time, I ordered a Medium Mint Oreo Blizzard and a Medium Diet Coke. This was just as delicious as the last one!
UPDATE: July 22, 2025-I decided to try another Blizzard, a Medium Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard, along with a Diet Coke. The Blizzard was blue, like Superman's outfit, and it was delicious. They put it out in conjunction with the Superman movie, and it obviously will be a limited time only items.“
