As OTR drivers my husband and I try to seek out the small town kind of places. We were in Rushville for a job and decided to have breakfast at the Park Restaurant. Great choice! We both ordered omelets and they are wonderful! Very cheesy and stuffed full of the good stuff. Service was great, very friendly waitstaff.
Please see my photos. It's hard to tell in the photos of my ham steak but my plate isn't a plate, its a platter! My ham was 1/2 inch thick and absolutely huge! It made my mashed potatoes look dinky and I got a lot of potatoes. My wife had the fish special of the day and she was happy with everything. After putting most of our meals in a to go box we were back at it with some homemade desserts. My wife had the butterscotch pie. The food was large portions and was reasonable price but it just wanted very tasty to me. The server we had was also not very friendly and seemed forgetful. However the place was packed so obviously other people like it here ?
