“Twelve Islands was my favorite family restaurant in Crown Point… Even though I don’t live there anymore when I head that way I like to stop in… My daughters loved going there and loved the lemon rice soup…I occasionally got the chicken livers and the calves liver with onions and bacon…. LOL 😂 Oh and the Chefs salad was always great, Greek style…. It’s always good there… I would definitely recommend it…! 5 STARS ✨“

“I visited One 13 North Saturday night with my boyfriend. It was completely packed but we were sat and greeted fast. Our server was very attentive and knew the menu. I noticed all the employees working as a team! I had the parmesean encrusted filet he had the chicken parmesean sandwich, both 10/10 along with a few of the fall cocktails but the carmel apple mule was my absolute favorite! Gail was an absolute delight! We will be back!! Thank you guys!“

“On a recent trip to Chicago from Canada, my friends and I decided to cross the border into Indiana, just to check it off our list since it was so close. We stopped at the Hard Rock Casino, and I won the rock-paper-scissors game to pick the restaurant. I chose Council Oak Steaks and Seafood and wasn’t disappointed.

I ordered the Tuna Tataki and a half-dozen oysters. Coming from Vancouver, where we have incredible seafood, I was impressed—the tuna and oysters were just as good as anything I’ve had back home. Council Oak gets my recommendation!“

“First, the service was very good. The bartender was quick to pick up on whether we wanted a drink or we wanted a menu. The food was great, as always. I have to eat something when I come in here. I just can't pass it up.

Parking: There is a lot of parking, but you may have to walk.“

“Visited Culinary Misfits this evening. It was a first time visit and we can’t wait to come back. We tried the khachapuri for an appetizer. It was stated to be a pull apart bread with molten cheese. The bread didn’t exactly pull apart but that’s my only “complaint” about the entire experience and really, it was solved with using the provided knife to make smaller pieces. We ordered the Loco Bueno Wrap and short rib grilled cheese. We weren’t able to finish half our main courses without being full. The environment is inviting and enjoyable. Service was great. It will certainly be somewhere we visit more frequently.“

I found that the servers were extremely friendly and the food was quite good. “I went there to help my son celebrate his birthday it's a great place I also took my 75 y.o. Aunt & my 80 y.o. mom the place is great for the younger crowd 40 & under lol but we still had a good time.The wings were great too & the owner Ms. Lisa was amazing she checked on us several times to make sure we were ok & to see if we needed anything & I also saw her in the bathroom checking it out & replacing tissue, but the icing on the cake was when we ready to leave she told my son don't worry about them getting to the car security got them they are gonna drive them & he also stayed there until we pulled off # a happy camper & customer thank you thank you & thank you again Ms. Lisa may GOD continue to # bless you & your business.“
