I have always loved the vibe, homey feel when making the decision to have a meal at Cracker Barrel. I can see some are noting the Sellersburg store has not changed its decor is not correct. The old timer decor has been removed and replaced with new modern pictures. It is not the same. The store section is the same, still good choice of foods. Love the chicken fired chicken. I have loved Cracker Barrel, exactly as it has been since my first visit. I am so glad the modern remodel isn't taking place. The Sellersburg store is especially nice, with friendly servers and staff who are well managed by Keith. The general store and chairs outside make any wait, just part of a great experience!
Food doesn’t seem fresh anymore, the new look is to bland and looks like a nursing home trying to mimic a new modern style. It’s not giving me home cooked vibes anymore, for some companies change is good, but this one needs to focus on its people and quality rather than an image change. This could be the down hill of CB? We shall see but my visits have become less and less as the prices have become more and more.
