Taquería La Mejor | Mexican houses a Mexican restaurant and a small supermarket together. The store is perfect for finding Latino food stuffs hard to find in big box stores, including a can of fire roasted serrano peppers. The small supermarket offers many Asian foods and vegetables, such as taro, cilantro, exceptionally sweet sweet potatoes, very fresh pork with the skin on, and whole fish. Staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. At the restaurant, a chicken taco salad and chicken nachos were both delicious. The waitress did not speak English very well, but she did her best. Desserts, tres leches cake and flan, are not recommended—the cake was very plain, and the flan was overcooked, not smooth or creamy, and somewhat dry.
