Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi Reviews
My wife went to dinner this past Wednesday at Tokyo. My wife ended up getting food poisoning from this place. I've had several other friends/family state they have gotten food poisoning from here as well. I recommend driving 15 minutes to Columbus to get sushi and not risk getting food poisoning from this place.
Anytime I have ordered Tokyo to go they package my sushi roll in with the hot food and the sushi is completely heated through by the time I get it home. I have said something several times, but they continue to package the hot and cold food together. Even the lettuce in my salad was warm. The few times I have eaten there, I have had no problems and the food is good.

Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi is a small, quaint restaurant in Seymour that offers an authentic Asian dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and the customer service is praised, with a friendly and attentive staff. The sushi menu is diverse, and customers enjoy the variety of options, such as the crab and shrimp maki rolls. The bento boxes and other Japanese dishes, like the shrimp tempura, are also well-received, though the quality of the ingredients may not be top-notch.
The restaurant is open every day except Mondays, with a break from 2-4 pm. While the overall dining experience is positive, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The take-out service is sometimes unreliable, with the phone going unanswered and the restaurant being closed during regular hours. Additionally, the side salad is described as being just lettuce, with a suggestion to add more vegetables.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi is a welcome addition to the Seymour dining scene, offering authentic Japanese cuisine in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Customers leave feeling full and satisfied, though their wallets may be a bit lighter due to the slightly higher prices.
