It is always a treat to have dinner at Blue River Bistro and last night we got to celebrate my birthday and I was greeted with a card signed by staff! All our meals were exceptional and wonderful service.
Lovely, unpretentious dining room. Waitress was very good. Informative, available but never lurking. One of us ordered beef wellington, the other, American waygu ribeye. The wellington was superb. Flaky crust nice layer of duxelle and a filet that did not need a fork! The ribeye was ok. One end of it was overcooked, dry, but it redeemed itself moving into it. They made our son and his fiancee's engagement celebration memorable. The service and food were impressive. The restaurant is quite noisy though, so you had to speak loudly to be heard by your party.
