Jack Binion's Steak offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of reviews. Located in the Horseshoe Casino in Shelbyville, Indiana, it is known for its fine dining atmosphere and exceptional menu. While some guests found the seating arrangements a bit too close for comfort, others praised the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service. The food received high marks, with mentions of melt-in-your-mouth calamari, excellent steaks, crabcakes, and delicious sides like baked potatoes and mushrooms. Guests enjoyed sharable side dishes and desserts that capped off the meal in style. The piano music added a nice touch to the evening, though some noted it was hard to hear due to noise from the bar crowd. The knowledgeable and friendly waitress provided fantastic suggestions for the group, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Some guests mentioned a rowdy crowd at the bar during their visit, which detracted from the overall experience. However, the quality of the steaks and service was considered beyond many premium steak places in the Indy area. Prices were considered reasonable for the quality and experience provided. A return visit is definitely on the cards for many guests, especially with plenty to do at the casino afterward.
Every time, diners are thrilled with the result. They combine a beautiful atmosphere with a fantastic dining experience. The shrimp cocktail is highly recommended. They also make very good dirty martinis. The steaks are always tender, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. Depending on what events are going on, or if it happens to be a weekend, it is best to make reservations in advance because it can get quite busy.
Pricey but the food and service was very good. The 14 oz ribeye, scallops appetizer, and German chocolate cake dessert were enjoyed. Steaks at the table were cooked a little more than ordered, so keep that in mind. Noise level was high and made it somewhat difficult for conversation. Requesting a table in the back area is recommended.
The experience was just amazing! The 10oz filet mignon, 7oz filet, and 14 oz boneless ribeye were cooked to perfection. The flavor, temp, seasoning, and tenderness surpassed any steak ever had. The shareable loaded baked potato was huge. Diners were greeted so graciously by the hostess. The manager was visible on the floor at all times, and the server was amazing. Well done to the Binion's staff. Amazing!
