This place is excellent!! They dont accept debit/credit cards but they do have an ATM inside! Cash & personal checks only. But its worth grabbing $30 from your stash & heading there to get plus size portions of phenomenal home cooked food😋
Velma’s Diner in Shoals is such a gem! From the moment I walked in, the waitress and cook made me feel completely at home – they were both so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the breakfast haystacks (hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, and two soft eggs) and it was absolutely delicious. Paired with a hot cup of tea, it hit the spot!

Live about a hour away and visited diner during the afternoon of 4 18 25. This is a quaint diner that reminds me of the ones from the late 50's early 60's were people used to meet just to enjoy good food and meet friends.
