We ordered an extra large pizza for carryout. Bruno's stands out because they always give you a ton of yummy cheese on the pizza, which other pizza places skimp on. The flavor of their crust is pretty good and recognizable, and has depth which most competitors lack. It's mostly a sour crust but also tastes of fragrant herbs, and it's not sugary or saltine-y like the icky big-pizza-chain crusts. Live live love. In Mishawaka or South Bend, this is my Goto. I live in Florida, but every time I go home I buy 2 Xlrg and freeze them to bring back to FL. Johnny Cataldo, Bruno's son, in my opinion, is the best in town. I heard the others are all franchises now. They are on Ironwood and Jefferson next to the old Stude's night

I have been traveling to Mishawaka/South Bend for years to attend Notre Dame games and Bruno’s pizza is part of the tradition. The food is always phenomenal but what’s even better is the treatment I get from the owner, his family, and staff. They make me feel like a long time friend and I am looking forward to my golf outing this May to have their great food and service once again.
