Let me start by saying my parents frequent this specific location often. I was tired of hearing how great it was and decided to meet them there on a SLOW Sunday afternoon and give it a try! Keep in mind we live 45 minutes away from this location. We were sat by our waitress Jazzmyn whom seemed more annoyed that we were there than not. We went through 3 baskets of chips and salsa before we were able to get a drink order in which was interesting because the restaurant didn’t seem busy at all but our waitress continued to go m.i.a in which we had to ask a busser for several things through out our visit. We weren’t offered a drink refill at all. And then when it was time to pay I noticed our waitress perk up a bit which was pleasant, I don’t care what the service is like, I am going to tip! I work in the service industry as well so I get it. My problem here is that my Dad payed our bill with his card and I myself left a cash tip on the table. After getting home and reviewing the bill my Dad then noticed that this women TIPPED HERSELF as well on his credit card! Absolutely NOT OK! And my parents will not be back, which is unfortunate because they would go at least 5 times a month.
My family and I went in tonight 10/19 and had an overall tragic experience. We are not the people to cause issues, but tonight was especially upsetting. To start, it took over an hour for us to actually put in any order. We wanted to put it in earlier, but unfortunately were not seen by our waitress. Busy nights happen and we understand, so this was not the issue we had. When we finally got the food, now over 1 1/2 hours since we’ve sat, 3/6 dishes were absolutely sub-par. First, one of our guests received the incorrect meat in her chimichanga. No big deal, but again could not get that resolved due to our waitress being M.I.A. The second issue was my Chic on the Beach. In the 6 years I have been eating at Hacienda, I personally have NEVER gotten anything besides this dish. The dish was served in a way that looked like an aggressive amount of their, extremely cold, white cheese piled on top of cold chicken and rice. This dish is usually served, for starters warm, but also with the liquid queso at the bottom. (Which makes sense as it’s a liquid of course) This dish was cold globs of cheese, congealed on top of the cold food… disappointing to say the least, but didn’t send it back due to thinking “Too much cheese seems like more of a personal thing maybe”, but the quality was extremely disappointing. The main issue was my partners’s meal, the Shredded Chicken Chimichanga. This is where the ACTUAL issue was a complete deal breaker. He got his food and 4-5 bites in was gifted a long black hair within his chimichanga…. When the waitress was finally able to make her 3rd visit to our table, in the 2 hours we’ve been sat at this point, she took the plate and said they’d take it off the bill and hurried away as she stumbled over the statement of “we will bring… something back”. Idk what she was trying to say, but that was that. Then, after who knows how long, she brings the bills, says the meal was taken off, and that was the end of it. I finally spoke up to ask if they were planning on replacing his meal or not… She then proceeded to place the blame on my partner for “not asking”…. well… we would think the waitress would let him know his options, but that was NOT the case. And my partner was out of a dinner with 0 alternatives offered, oh besides the dessert we were offered AFTER we brought the issue up again. Overall, what a disappointing experience. We frequent this location and have for a few years now. To say this will be our last would be accurate. Tonight we were with family from out of town, which we do often, and this embarrassing excuse of a dinner was sad to waste their last night in town at.
Food is good but nothing special. Good chips and salsa. Service is always fair.

The waitress was rude. She rushed away in the middle of us ordering our drinks and again when we ordered our meal. She never came by to ask how our food was or if we needed anything else. Worst service I've ever had at Hacienda. But she did get a tip because I just couldn’t not give her one.

Was told 25 to 30 mins for my order. Got there in 15 and paid. After 45 mins I asked for my food. They forgot me and just put it in. Asked for a refund that literally took the manager 12 mins, on top of the 45, just to void my purchase. What a joke. Nobody cares anymore about the customer

Worst Salsa I have ever had. It tasted like Tomato paste. No hint of Cilantro. Green Salsa was good. Smothered burrito was ok. Very americanized version of Mexican food. If you want traditional food go somewhere else. Service and atmosphere was great though

We love to go to Hacienda. I started a group that meets monthly. We're a bunch of friends that are "Retired and Lovin' it"! We all like to go there. Each month, a different member picks a restaurant for the next month!

This is a chain "Mexican" restaurant in the Midwest. It has subpar food, subpar service and a typical atmosphere. It's not terrible, basically the Applebee's of Mexican food. Could they be better? Probably. Could they be worse? Definitely. They did revamp their menu several years ago and it is much better and they added some more fresh options. One of my favorites that they added was table side guacamole. Its fresh and made to order and you get to choose what and how much of each ingredient is added and how smooth or chunky you want it.

Been here 3 or 4 times since moving here a year ago. And I'm just not impressed. The salsa and ranch mixed together is amazing. Definitely a fan of that. Food is very pricey in my opinion.
