“My wife and I had a delicious dinner at BB’s Indian Kitchen. The food is amazing. I hope anyone local to or visiting South Bend will try it out. You won’t be sorry. They specialize in South Indian cooking, while also offering the northern dishes more familiar to American diners. I had the Malabar fish curry, which I had only had once before when visiting Kerala which is where the recipe originates. I was not disappointed. The smoky flavor of the curry leaves and the creamy coconut sauce make for a flavor that is simply unlike anything else you may have tasted, and so if you are adventurous and like surprising your taste buds, you will love this. My wife had the Lamb tikka masala, one of those northern staples, but the version of it at this restaurant is so much better than any I remember having anywhere recently, if ever. When South Indians make northern dishes, they bring their own unique take on them and the result is something special. If you normally like this dish, order it here and you will be amazed.
Anyplace that has big windows that let patrons see what is happening in the kitchen are places you can trust. The windows in the other direction give you a view of a path overlooking the river.
If I lived in South Bend, this would be a place I would come to dine over and over again. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out on something really special!“
