Tasty Mexican food at reasonable prices. I hope to return to this restaurant again soon.Parking: Good location with ample parking on Portage Avenue south of Cleveland Road in South Bend. Not far from the big Meijer and Walmart stores on Portage.

Scumbags. Called ahead for a pickup order at 11:40, arrived at the restaurant around 12:00, already a 20 minute wait, and did not receive food until 12:25, 45 minutes after i had placed my order. Wasn’t told a wait time in store until i finally asked what was taking so long, apparently they didn’t think to drop meat for the order until they ran completely out. Won’t be coming back. Stupid scumbags

I ate at Pedro's for an early supper yesterday. I ask if they could make a shrimp burrito for me. I had a choice of red or green sauce of which I chose the red. The burrito was excellent and so large i could only eat half taking the rest home. The level of spice was tame for my t.aste but really helped the shrimp to shine. They also offered chips and salsa as an appetizer and they have become a favorite of mine. For drinks they have both fountain service alco with imported Mexican soft drinks in real glass bottles including imported Coke made with real cane sugar. While i have never tried them the menu has a long list of normal American diner food. Service was fast and effecient but can get a little slow during mealtime rushes. Prices are in line with current costs. They do have a chalkboard of daily specials. The buildinng is well kept and the inside has a real hometown look and feel. You have to look for it but it is worth the trip.

I always enjoy eating here! I only go here when they have the what used to be $1 taco but are now $1.50 taco special, so take that into account for my review. For the price of the special the tacos are pretty good depending on what you get. The pork (al pastor) tacos were a bit lacking in seasoning. I provided a pic below. I'd recommend the steak tacos! The steak is seasoned well and if you like your tacos Mexican style (cilantro & onion) you'll enjoy the flavor! This place has a LOT of other food choices, including breakfast but I have not tried any of it. The only other items I'd suggest are the chicken quesadilla and french fries! ~Ya I suggested fries from a Mexican restaurant haha! The former comes with refried beans in it so order accordingly. Trust me, the French fries are pretty tasty. Give'em a try!

My husband and I went here for dinner yesterday. It was a terrible experience. We ordered the chicken alambre and the steak alambre. first, if they were both made incorrect, missing the cheese that was supposed to be on them. So our server took both of our plates and returned to the kitchen. They were brought back to us with some melted mozzarella cheese. Then our server left. As we were getting ready to eat we realized that our dishes were missing the bacon that was supposed to be cooked with the meat and vegetables. Had to wait 10 minutes till the server reappeared to the dining area. But at time our food was cold. I explain to her that it was missing and she said oh, I can just bring you some slices of bacon. Explain to her, that's not how this dish is made. Supposed to be cooked with the meat and the peppers and onions. She refused to remake both of the dishes. By the time she brought out the slices of cooked bacon, we had decided just to pack up our cold food and take it home and reheat it. This was our first time there and will definitely be our last time there. Terrible customer service.
