I always enjoy eating here! I only go here when they have the what used to be $1 taco but are now $1.50 taco special, so take that into account for my review. For the price of the special the tacos are pretty good depending on what you get. The pork (al pastor) tacos were a bit lacking in seasoning. I provided a pic below. I'd recommend the steak tacos! The steak is seasoned well and if you like your tacos Mexican style (cilantro & onion) you'll enjoy the flavor!...
Wish I had taken a picture of the tacos al pastor but they were too good and disappeared quickly! I would definitely go back for those tacos! We also tried the chicken and steak fajitas, delicious! Place is a small, mom and pop feel but the food is good!Service was a little slow but I was there on a late Saturday afternoon, not alot of people and the food came out in good time, hot and tasted fresh!Looked clean and the prices reasonable.
Parking: Good location with ample parking on Portage Avenue south of Cleveland Road in South Bend. Not far from the big Meijer and Walmart stores on Portage.
