I think I'm being generous in my star rating. We really like Popeyes chicken in general but this location is definitely having trouble. When it first opened we tried it immediately and everything was great! Food was fresh and hot. Portion sizes were great. Since that time we've returned at least seven or eight times and we've noticed it has gone downhill pretty quickly. Tried this location for the first time tonight 30 minutes before close and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ayla’s customer service was top tier! Happy we now how a location on this side of town.
I was very leery of ordering from Popeye's on Michigan St, after some of the reviews I've read. However, I was pleasantly surprised by friendly staff and prompt service. The time from ordering in the drive thru to leaving with my meal was less than 5 minutes, and the food was fresh and delicious. I'll be back!
