Mancino’s Italian Eatery has the best grinders!!!! This mancino’s has a nice large seating area and the bathrooms are clean. There used to be a mancino’s on the south side of town in the Martin’s plaza there on Ireland but it closed a few years ago - we were so disappointed! My husband’s favorite grinder is the turkey and mine is the vege!

Been visiting this location for a long time with my Grandma. Many new owners thru the years, but service & food remains the same. Love this place! Eaten every item & never been disappointed.

Ordered a large Italian sub from grubhub. I am currently throwing up violently all night long because of this sub. Clearly I have food poisoning. I dont know if they have a cook that doesnt wash his hands or what but I am more sick than I've been in a long time after eating their food.

This place is trash since these new owners took over! They are slow! The man just watches while everyone works instead of helping. Food is not the same. They have kids running around in the back by ovens playing with boxes and they have a lady too old to be working. It’s ridiculous!!!! I’ll never go back!

Absolutely saddened in how disgusting our food was tonight for almost $100 I wish I would have just made dinner. I thought we'd have a relaxing night for my daughter's birthday instead we paid $89 for trash. All of it was pathetic to say the least... ? and I was bragging that it was so good two people here never even had it before. Probably won't ever buy again!

On Wednesday, October 2nd at 7:45pm: I was told by a co-worker that the meatball classic grinders are amazing. My first time visit. Was very disappointed. I ordered a 4" and 8" meatball grinder and an order of french fries. Got two bags of chips instead of french fries. I agreed to wait for french fries. After 20 minutes, my order was complete. Got home to fries not cooked (still frozen on inside). I put them in my own oven and baked for an additional 11 minutes. The 4" meatball sandwich was good and bread toasted nicely. However, the 8" meatball sandwich was a mess! Sauce soaked into bread that was not toasted. Soggy mess. I did try to call, but store was already closed for the evening. I called the next day and was told that I had to bring back the order the day of the order to get any consideration of compensation. After spending close to $18 for this order and the lack of customer service I received the following day, I will not be returning. PS: I found 200% better meatball sandwiches at Lake Street Pizza and Pizza Transit in Niles, Michigan.

It's really good food but I got a french dip and it wasn't even enough meat to cover the surface of the bread that had been sliced. I think they got new owners.

Good food, good service. Sandwiches and pizzas are best in town. Just ask for the Billy with everything on it.

I have two favorite places in my area for Calzones. One is Jett's Pizza and one is ... well was Mancino's. I loved both places but Mancino's was a little better imo. Two weeks ago I was in the area of the Portage Rd Mancino's and stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered a calzone and in a short time it was ready and delivered to my table. It was delicious!!!!! Service was great as usual and the waitress acted like she enjoyed her job as I observed her interactions both with myself and other patrons. A+ Now this past week I decided to take my two teenage boys out to lunch and we were headed to Pizza Transit (another one of our favorites) but on the way we changed direction and went to Portage Rd Mancino's instead for Calzones. They were what I would call pretty slow on business when we arrived and ordered. We were seated so the food prep and oven were in clear view. First our food took an excessively long time to get made. Second when the waitress brought our food out with two separate trips, she said absolutely nothing either time. So as she was walking away the second time I thanked her and she's gave me what I am guessing was a yep but I couldn't t really hear her. Third the calzones we're MUCH smaller then all past Calzones at any Mancino's location. Fourth they were not totally cooked and lacked the delicious flavor we have loved in the past. Needless to say for the next day plus we dealt with upset stomach's!!! All I can say is that the person who made and brought out our food this time was different then all the other times. Sooooo in the future I will call and see who is making the food before I decide to go to Portage Rd Mancino's. It almost seemed like the owners kids were running the restaurant now and if that is the case, I am very disappointed because now they are buying restaurants rather then just gas stations.

I have always gotten good service from this store. The meat grande pizza (my favorite) is always very good. Despite this being a chain/franchise store, the toppings are always so generous, they’re falling off the pizza slices as you eat them. I would skip the medium pizza, unless you’re eating alone. It is pretty small. 2 medium pizzas barely feed four. Get at least larges or extra larges, to be safe.
